What are the goals for Parkinson’s?

Mobility

The goal mobility aims at improving the range of motion, maximizing the movement, preventing falls and helps in gaining functional independence. Besides, it works on improving the balance in PD patients. Decreased amplitude of movement is often observed in individuals with PD, working out on this goal can minimize the decreased amplitude of Parkinson’s. This goal helps them reduce stiffness too.

Dexterity

Dexterity assists individuals with Parkinson’s in finishing their daily tasks like writing, wearing a shirt, holding a pen, etc. It helps in achieving a normal state in ADL (Activities of Daily Living) through fine motor control and hand-eye coordination.

Oro-facial Function
